Returns & Replacements

BoldHe.art is a print on demand company, which means all products are unique and produced per order. Returns, exchanges or refunds are not supported if a customer ordered a wrong size, color, or simply doesn’t want the product anymore. We do offer free replacements in case of print issues or damaged items (please see below for details).

What if I am not sure what size I need?

Though the best way to determine what size you need is by measuring a shirt you already know and love. Match those measurements with the ones on the size chart of the product page and you've got yourself a good fit (remember to allow for 10-15% shrinkage after the first wash in cold water and low heat dry).

Keep in mind our tees are "retail fit", meaning they are more of a style-driven/fitted cut than a classic boxy adult cut tee. To put it in the simplest terms if you like your shirts more fitted, go with the size you normally wear. All shirts from different companies are sized slightly differently, but think of the style/fit of a shirt you would buy at Abercrombie, Forever 21 or American Eagle. If you like your shirts loose, you are best to go up one or two sizes depending on how loose you want the shirt to be. What if there is an issue with my order?

We offer a free replacement if there are any issues with your order like manufacturing error or printing issues.

To report an issue please email us at boldheartshop@gmail.com within 15 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and photo(s) of the issue (reports without photos will not be processed).

We will process your report within 1-3 business days and once approved we will ship your replacement item. There is no need to send the original item back to us.

How long will it take to get my item?

All items are made to order. Please allow 2-3 business days for printing and shipping. The standard shipping we offer takes 5 to 8 days within the US and 10 to 15 days to Canada. International shipping to anywhere in the world takes 10 to 30 days.

What printing techniques are used?

All apparel is printed using a high-tech digital print technique called Direct to Garment printing. Our third party fulfiller has the best machines in the business which ensures an extremely high quality print. Every garment that leaves the fulfiller is quality controlled before being shipped to our customers. 

How should I wash my shirt?

Turn garments inside out to preserve the integrity of the print. Use cold water only, and laundry detergent without bleach. Dry on low under normal settings. Expect about 5-10% (about a half a shirt size) shrinkage after a normal wash for our cotton shirts. Wash colors separately from whites, especially on the first wash.

Why does my shirt smell like vinegar?

The DTG printing process can sometimes leave a vinegar-like odor on the printed item. Not to worry! The smell goes away on it's own or after the first wash.

Why does my tee look a bit different than the mock up on the site?

Product mockups are digital renderings of files which means prints may look slightly bigger or smaller when printed and may be placed slightly higher or lower on the garment. Colors may also look less vibrant when printed compared to the digital rendering on the screen.

Why am I being charged taxes at checkout?

If you are requesting delivery in areas where law dictates taxes be charged prior to purchase, you will be charged taxes. In Europe, you may notice a VAT charge appearing in the total before payment as well.
